ESPN2 will present an encore telecast tonight of Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez 4 at 8 p.m. EST leading up to this week's installment of Friday Night Fights. The main event features undefeated welterweight Kevin Bizier (19-0, 13 KOs) and former undisputed lightweight world champion Nate Campbell (36-9-1,1 NC, 26 KOs) from the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Whether this is your first viewing or the twentieth of this epic fourth battle that was originally aired on HBO pay-per-view last December from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, it is well worth tuning it to witness this breathtaking encounter that was voted 2012 "Fight of the Year" by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA).
With yet another massive winter storm headed toward the East coast, it only seems appropriate that Pacquiao-Marquez 4 hit the airwaves again tonight. It was "lights out" for Pacquiao after being dropped cold by a perfectly timed right hand by Marquez in the sixth round, so batten down the hatches and prepare for the severe conditions in and out of the ring once more.
Following the replay of Pacquaio-Marquez 4, the undefeated Bizier takes on the cagey veteran Campbell in the main event of Friday Night Fights. Although the 40-year old Campbell's best days are behind him and he only signed on for this fight last week as a replacement for the injured John O'Donnell, he represents the toughest test of Bizier's young career.
Campbell enters tonight's bout with big fight experience, having fought former and current titleholders Danny Garcia, Victor Ortiz, Timothy Bradley Jr., Juan Diaz and Joel Casamayor. Bizier, a 28-year old prospect fom Quebec, will be competing in only his second 12-round fight. His first came against the capable Lanardo Tyner in December 2011, whom he defeated by a lopsided unanimous decision.
